ÉLAIA ?
You may be wondering why we chose the name ÉLAIA. The initial idea was to name this new surf school ALAIA, Alaia being the wooden boards used at the origins of Polynesian surfing. This echoes the simplicity and authenticity of skiing. The idea of the evolution of our school is also to return to simpler things, to better support each apprentice surfer. Then by doing some research on this word, we discovered that the term ÉLAIA meant Olivier. And yes, you guessed it, it’s also the first name of the creator of the school!
